PRONI Centre for Social Education, in cooperation with the representatives of the Sisak-Moslavina and Vukovar-Srijem County, and Faculty of Economics in Osijek, has organized public debates with young people within the European Week.
A public debate ”Opportunities and rights of young people in acceding countries to the European Union and the EU, and Youth policy in EU countries and Croatia” has been organized in Sisak Gymnasium on May 4th; a public debate ‘Values and standards in the EU” was implemented in Vukovar-Srijem County premises in Vukovar on May 5th; and a public debate “MOBIS” – Mobility of students was organized on Faculty of Economics in Osijek on May 6th.
As the debates were organized within the European Youth Information Day, it also aimed at increasing the level of knowledge and awareness of young people regarding the European Union, and to promote EU values and standards.
These debates and other activities are an integral part of the partnership project EUphoria, which is supported by EU, through the program IPA INFO 2008.
