“Europe and I” is the title of the public debate implemented on 20th of April in the premises of Regional Info centre for youth Osijek. The debate, on which 20 young people participated, aimed at raising the level of informing and awareness among youth about European Union, as well as to promote EU values and standards. Debate was led by experts from The Osijek-baranja development agency, Ms. Mirela Sudaric and Mr. Damir Lajos, which among other, spoke about youth policy and strategies for youth in EU, the role of young people in the decision-making processes, role of media in promotion of EU standards, etc. In order to additionally promote EU values and standards, this event, which is part of the implementation of the project EUphoria, financed by EU through program IPA INFO 2008, was organized within the promotion of European Youth Information Day.
