Project EUphoria is implemented with a financial support of EU, through program IPA INFO 2008., from December the 1st 2009. till November 30st 2010. Overall objective to increase the level of knowledge and raise the awareness of young people within the enlargement process, by deeper understanding and acceptance of EU values and standards affecting everyday life of young people in Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem, Sisak-Moslavina, Zagreb, Primorsko Goranska and Split-Dalmatia counties.
Specific objective is to raise the awareness among young people and increase the level of flow of EU relevant information, by setting up Euro Info Corners and by promoting participation of young people, students and pupils in youth information work and public debate events.Partners in the project are: Non-governmental organizations: IMAGINE from Zagreb, STEP AHEAD from Rijeka, INFO ZONE from Split. PRONI Centre for Social Education from Osijek is the Applicant.
Target groups are:
- Youth, age between 15 and 30 from Osijek, Vukovar, Sisak, Zagreb, Rijeka and Split;
- Students and pupils of Universities and High schools in Osijek, Vukovar, and Sisak;
- Leaders and Volunteers of Info-Centres for Youth within Croatia;
Main activities are:
- Development and implementation of Euro Info Corners in Info-Centres for Youth in Osijek, Vukovar, Sisak, Zagreb, Rijeka and Split, through networking and transfer of knowledge and experience between Info-Centre for Youth in Croatia
- Development and implementation of Public debate events by joining the knowledge and experience of leaders of Info-Centres for Youth and representatives of educational institution in the field of youth information work
- Public Promotion Campaign – throughout the action, the campaign will promote the action plans, activities and results
