Project Youth Employment Task-force is financed by EU, through the programme “Youth on the labour market”, within Operational Programme for Human Resource Development (OP HRD) 2007-2009, Instrument of Pre-accession Assistance (IPA).
Project started on 3rd of May 2011 and will last till 2nd of May 2012.
Overall objective: To increase the level of employability of unemployed youth from counties with the highest unemployment rates for their easier labour market entry and social inclusion in Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem and Sisak-Moslavina Counties
Specific objective: To support and build capacities (skills, knowledge and experience) of unemployed youth and first time job seekers, using cross-sector partnership approach in implementing innovative methods of informing, counselling, tailor-made training courses, providing and promoting working experiences out of conventional employment

Target group:
Unemployed youth, from counties with the highest unemployment rate – Osijek-Baranja, Vukovar-Srijem and Sisak-Moslavina Counties, with low levels of qualifications and skills and without working experience, age between 15 and 24, who are often low-informed and in need of support in information collection, counselling and participation in non-formal education;
Main activities:
- Implementation of Info sessions and individual counselling by Youth Employment Task-force
- Design and implementation of tailor-made training program “School of life skills”
- Implementation of education courses ECDL and PCM
- Provision of work experience through education and mentorship of Voluntary teams in YIC
- Public promotion campaign
