In the Police Information Centre of the Osijek-Baranja on 12th November at 11 hour, was presented the program of Coordination “Legiranje, not druging” to mark the upcoming “Month Against Drug Abuse”. Turning the PRONI Centre / RYIC Osijek in Coordination is the result of coopeation between the members of the Advisory Committee of RYIC Osijek.
In order to inform the public about the problem of substance abuse, prevention Department of the Osijek-Baranja in cooperation with non-institutional partners have traditionally carried out various preventive activities, so this year in the period from 15 November to 15 December in a series of planned cooperation activities of public interest.

Today’s dependency problems know no age, gender or social structures, and expressed as a dependence on the internet (social networks), gambling addiction, alcohol addiction, drug addiction, food addiction and other addictions that day by day getting higher  number of victims.

To mark the Month Against Drug Abuse, in the framework of prevention project “Legiranje, not druging”, Police Department Osijek-Baranja will intensify activities aimed at preventing drug abuse as well as prevention of other forms of addiction.

Members of the coordination are: Police Department Osijek-Baranja, Center for mental health care, prevention and outpatient addiction treatment, City Red Cross Osijek, Department of Health and Welfare Osijek-Baranja County, Center for Missing and Exploited Children Osijek, PRONI Center, Association “Non-dependency ‘Club AA Osijek, Youth Council of the City of Osijek, Youth Council of Osijek-Baranja county and the Association of students of Medicine.
