In the frame of project “Meet ROY (Resources On-line for Youth)” performed by Association of Youth Information Centres in Croatia, in partnership with organizations from Belgium, Turkey, and Slovenia, the interactive training program is taking place in PRONI Training Centre in Pirovac, with main aim to encourage young people to gain additional knowledge and improve their personal and professional skills in the field of youth information work.
The training event is taking place from October the 3rd till October the 11th and involves 19 participants, youth information workers from four countries: Belgium, Slovenia, Turkey and Croatia.
Besides the promotion of culture through organized intercultural events, participants, with the help of experienced ERYICA ‘s trainers, will pass through licensed program “Digital YIntro” through which they will identify common values, exchange relevant information about models of on-line youth informing in their countries, and actively participate in the learning process, using different methods to enable quality development of on-line resources for young people. The program is additionally putting the focus on young people with fewer opportunities (based on living conditions, psycho-social and physical abilities, cultural background, etc.).
The duration of the project is from September the 1st 2011 till January the 1st 2012. Besides main educational objectives, the project is directed to promote the partnership building activities between youth information workers from EU countries and countries out of EU.
The main applicant, which member is PRONI Centre as well, is the Association of Youth Info Centres in Croatia. Project is financed by European Commission, through Youth in Action Programme, conducted in Croatia by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.
