The project “My place, my face” aims to provide interactive training program for 25 targeted youth participants from 5 countries, who will be encouraged to gain additional knowledge and improve their skills in the field of youth and community work, by putting additional focus on voluntary youth participation. Their learning will be based on themes of voluntarism, especially learning about how to provide active support to youth participation in local communities and how to encourage young people with fewer opportunities to become pro-active members of society. Also, the project has its base in the development of intercultural dialog and exchange between young participants who are coming from societies very different from each other related to their economical, social, cultural and many other elements.
The project includes several very important activities, combined and formulated as training program, intercultural evenings, visit to the region, practical voluntary action in the local community of Pirovac, as well as follow-up activities when returning to the countries of origin.
The promotors in the project are NGOs from Moldova, Serbia, The Netherlands, Slovenia and Croatia.
The main activity will be organized in Pirovac, Croatia, in youth Training centre, as 9-day activity.
The project duration is planned for May the 1st till September the 1st 2011.
