On 14th November 2014. in Vukovar was held a presentation of Eurodesk, the European Youth Portal and Structured Dialogue with youth. PRONI Centre is, as one of 11 partners EURODESK Croatia , presented the youth opportunities offered to them through different programs which Agency for mobility and EU programs implementing and promoting.
The presentation was held on the occasion of the International Day of Tolerance (16.11.), in order to inform and to promote mobility for the purpose of learning and training, and developing a sense of other and different cultures and people.

Present 80 young people learned that Eurodesk is free information service of the European Commission with the aim to provide young people and all those who work with young people quality information about European programs and policies for young people. It was interesting to hear that the Croatian Eurodesk center is part of a network consisting of a central office in Brussels, national coordinators from 33 European countries and over 1300 local and regional partners.

So 11 partners of Croatian Eurodesk contribute to regulation of the content of the European Youth Portal , where young people can get answers to their questions in the field of labor, education, volunteering, etc.

The presentation also stressed the importance of youth involvement in the decisions that affect them and participants got basic information on the implementation of a structured dialogue with young people in Croatia, which aims to improve communication between young people and representatives of local and regional government, in order to respond to the needs of young people in local communities.
