Promotional events of the “EU minds” project were held on 27th June and 6th July at the  City of Beli Manastir and City of Djakovo premises. The event presented the results of research among 500 final classes students of ten high schools in Osijek-Baranja County and examples of good practice in getting financing from EU funds through youth projects and projects at the county level. In addition, the sources of financing for these projects and recent data on youth unemployment were presented.

Because of the overlap with the week in which there are public holidays, the beginning of the vacation season and completion of the school year, a very modest number of participants in promotional events resulted in the organizers, PRONI Center for Social Education and Development Agency, Osijek-Baranja County, wish that this is only the first round of such events, and the same are planned to be repeated at the end of August.

At a planned promotional event in Nasice on 28th June, all participants, except for media representatives, were prevented from attending by vacations, so the end of August is reserved for re-visiting the cities of Beli Manastir, Nasice and Djakovo.
