Within the project \u201eVolunteer Centre Vukovar<\/a>\u201c, between May 2 and 5, an education week in the field of voluntarism was organized for both, volunteers and organizers of volunteers from Vukovar-Srijem county. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In cooperation with the City of Ilok Youth Council, within the European Youth Week,\u00a0the education \u201eTo be volunteer\u201c on which 16 volunteers from Ilok attended, aimed at introducing young people with the world of voluntarism according to Croatian Law about voluntarism. Also, through presentation about European Voluntary Service provided by colleagues from partner organization Youth Peace Group Danube<\/a>, young people were introduced with the volunteering possibilities on European level. Additionally,\u00a0European Solidarity Corps were presented to the participants. Further, from May 3 to May 5 in cooperation with the Volunteer Centre Osijek<\/a>, two sets of educations for representatives of organizers of volunteers from public and civil sector was organized in Vukovar. The aim of educations \u201eIntroduction to volunteering management\u201c and \u201eThe recognition of volunteers\u201c aimed at raising the quality of work with volunteers and their recognition through issuing the Certificate about competences gained through volunteering. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All educational activities are part of the project \u201eVolunteer Centre Vukovar\u201c which is financially supported by the Ministry of demography, family, youth and social policy, Vukovar-Srijem County and the City of Vukovar.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
