{"id":953,"date":"2015-01-07T22:23:09","date_gmt":"2015-01-07T22:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/proni.hr\/?p=953"},"modified":"2015-01-07T22:23:09","modified_gmt":"2015-01-07T22:23:09","slug":"eu-minds-project-debates-held-in-petrinja-and-novska","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/proni.hr\/old.proni.hr\/eu-minds-project-debates-held-in-petrinja-and-novska\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"\u201eEU minds\u201c project debates held in Petrinja and Novska"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the project &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.proni.hr\/index.php\/en\/news\/index.php\/en\/active-projects\/EU-minds.html\">EU minds<\/a>&#8220;, financed by IPA INFO 2009, on 25th and 27th May Petrinja and Novska debates were held with final classes from Petrinja\u00a0secondary school and Novska\u00a0secondary school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sadrzaj\" align=\"justify\">The debates were organized by the Sisak-Moslavina County and PRONI Center for Social Education, and on each debate\u00a0 30 pupils participated. The aim of the debates was to raise the level of understanding and acceptance of European values and standards among students and promote the development of their personal skills.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<span class=\"sadrzaj\">Topics for discussion were determined after an opinion survey of young people in secondary schools in the county, and during the debates the students argued their positions regarding the issues like: will\u00a0joining the EU affect the employment opportunities, agriculture and industry, educational opportunities, improved living standards and reduction in corruption.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Within the project &#8220;EU minds&#8220;, financed by IPA INFO 2009, on 25th and 27th May Petrinja and Novska debates were held with final classes from Petrinja\u00a0secondary school and Novska\u00a0secondary school.
